Welcome to the Nursery at Queen Mary, University of London

The Nursery was established at Queen Mary in 1991. In January 2002 the current 65-place purpose built setting was opened in Bancroft Road. Nursery places are available to children of staff and students of Queen Mary, and people outside the College, for children aged three months to five years. CCTV protects the Nursery and access is solely by an automated door entry system linked to the internal office.

The Nursery is open between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm, 48 weeks of the year. We are closed on Bank Holidays and for one week at Easter, two weeks in the summer, and one week over Christmas, when the College is closed. The Nursery achieved Investors in People status in November 2004 and the Investors in Children Quality Assurance Scheme in 2007.

The Nursery is a strictly non-smoking environment.
